Chiefly correspondence between family members, especially Andrew Bigelow, his wife Amelia, his brothers John Prescott Bigelow and Francis Bigelow, his sisters Elizabeth Prescott Bigelow and Katherine Bigelow Lawrence, and his brother-in-law Abbott Lawrence. Includes discussions of family financial transactions. Also contains letters to Bigelow in his position as minister. These letters are from other clergymen suggesting swapping Sundays or particular pulpits, or accompany monetary contributions to the church.
